The latest Sony Showroom opened in March 2002 situated under the BNZ tower in Wellington.
After successfully completing the previous 2 Sony Showroms in Auckland and Christchurch. ellerymuirassociates were appointed to design and project manage the Wellington concept store.
Alongside Clark Hamilton and the team at Sony Style NZ ellerymuirassociates designed a store that has become a unique retail experience within the New Zealand high street landscape.
All fixtures were specifically designed to maximise the interactive nature of the products. There are no visible connections to power and data and the public are able to handle the merchandise with ease.
